I am a wife, a mum to three adult children and nan to three beautiful grand daughters.
Family has always been at the heart of who I am. It's where I've learnt the importance of love, laughter, connection and making memories that last a lifetime.
I work as a Registered Nurse in the end of life space, and this career has given me the privilege of walking alongside people, and their families, through some of life's most challenging and deeply personal moments.
This career has also taught me something incredibly valuable, life is precious, every story matters, and the way we celebrate and honour those stories makes a difference.
It was this understanding that inspired me to become a celebrant. I wanted to bring together my love of people, my appreciation for life's meaningful moments, and my ability to offer a calm, compassionate presence when its matters most.
I'm warm, down to earth and believe there;s always room for a little humour when the moment calls for it. I do not believe in cookie-cutter ceremonies, overly formal scripts or making things more complicated than they need to be.
I believe in love in all its forms - loud love, quiet love, long marriages, second chances, complicated families and deep friendships. The kind of love that grows over time and the kind that arrives unexpectedly and changes everything.
I bring to this work the experience that comes with age, wisdom and having lived a full life myself. So if you want a celebrant who’s organised, deeply human and brings just the right mix of warmth and wit, then we might be a perfect match.
